Telehealth Information for Clients

In-person appointments may not suit every client. If you feel as though online appointments would suit your schedule/ circumstances more, please be aware that we offer telehealth appointments. There are two online formats we offer, please see more information below:

Telehealth (video)​

• If your preferred format for an appointment is telehealth (video) please let us know before booking an appointment. Progressive Steps Intervention uses Microsoft Teams for our telehealth (video) appointments.

• Microsoft Teams is free to download and you can either create an account or sign in as a guest: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoft-teams/free

• Please ensure that you have Microsoft Teams installed on your device and are logged in prior to the appointment, to ensure everything runs smoothly.

• The Microsoft Teams link will be sent via email once your appointment has been booked.

• If you find yourself having technical difficulties close to the appointment time please call the clinic on (07) 3162 3741 so that we can arrange for the appointment to be over the phone.

• The appointment will go for 1-hour. Please ensure that you are ready to log in at the time of your appointment, as the appointment will not exceed the 1-hour slot if you are late.

Telehealth (Phone)

• If your preferred format for an appointment is telehealth (phone) please let us know before booking an appointment. Ensure that 10 mins before your appointment you are in a suitable position to receive a phone call. At the start time of your appointment you will receive a phone call from the Psychologist from a private phone number.

• The appointment will go for 1-hour. Please ensure that you are ready to receive a phone call at the time of your appointment, as the appointment will not exceed the 1-hour slot if you are late.
